Katy Street - Associate physiotherapist
After graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, New Zealand, Katy went on to complete post graduate study and examinations in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy to become a Credentialed McKenzie Therapist.
Katy has worked in several different hospitals around New Zealand, Australia and here in London for the NHS. Whilst working in these hospitals she gained valuable experience to allow her to assess and treat a broad range of conditions and complaints in a holistic way. In New Zealand Katy worked as a senior Therapist and worked closely with the surgeons to develop evidence based rehabilitation programs for patients after spinal surgery and ligament repairs. She also has experience working with sports teams and has completed post-graduate training in spinal and peripheral joint mobilization techniques.
Katy has special interests in back and neck pain, chronic pain and sports injuries. When she is not at work you can find Katy at the gym, skiing, or taking photos while travelling around the UK and Europe.
